Operating out of 4 locations, DEAN Foundation has reached out to 16,210 patients as on 31 August 2021 through 70,757 Outpatient & 55,248 Home Care visits. This includes 3,203 children between the age 0 - 12 years. 12,549 have been Cancer patients. No mandatory fee is levied.

DEAN Foundation’s Doctor/Nurse led teams treat patients suffering from advanced cancer, end stage diabetes, heart, renal and vascular diseases, stroke with significant functional impairment, neurodegenerative disorders, those who are bedridden, the frail elderly, and empower their families.

At this stage of their lives, patients not only require medical treatment but also psychosocial and spiritual care to equip them to face the progression of the disease. Households face a drastic change when any family member faces a life-threatening illness. They need much hand holding especially if the bread winner of the household is affected. Competent spouses or children are trained to assume the role of caregiver. Training in Wound management, Ryles Tube feeding, nutrition, identifying significant changes in symptoms and how to handle them are imparted at each Outpatient/Home Care visit.

Essentials such as medicines and medical consumables are supplied to equip patients till their next visit. Nutrition kits, provisions, vegetables and fruits are sourced and distributed to the very poor.

Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Acupressure and Reflexology offered alongside mainstream treatment, enables us to provide family centered care and add quality of life to our beneficiaries and their families.
